Abstract
Public speaking is an essential skill for nursing students, particularly those involved in student organizations such as BEM and HIMA. This community service activity aimed to improve students’ self-confidence and communication skills through interactive public speaking training and competition. The event was held on October 20, 2024, at HSLC Rifa Corporation, Bandung, and attended by 32 students from various regions. The training sessions covered fundamental techniques in public speaking, personal branding, and self-confidence building, delivered by professional speakers. The competition allowed participants to apply their skills by delivering ±4-minute speeches assessed based on content, delivery, creativity, and performance. The results revealed increased enthusiasm, speaking confidence, and the ability to convey ideas effectively. Six outstanding participants were selected as winners, and all participants received certificates and appreciation. This program demonstrated a positive impact on enhancing students’ communication abilities and is expected to be sustained as part of student leadership development initiatives.
