Abstract

After giving birth, most of the time the mother is used to breastfeed her baby. The time it takes for one feeding can last 30 minutes or more. One of the successes of breastfeeding is comfort when breastfeeding including the position and manner when breastfeeding the baby. The purpose of making the Anti-Fatigue Breast Milk Pillow (BASILA) is to provide comfort to mothers and babies during the breastfeeding process.  The method in making pillows starts from December 18, 2023 to January 12, 2024 consisting of orientation, implementation and evaluation stages. This pillow trial was conducted involving 15 breastfeeding mothers with accidental techniques. Observations were made using questionnaires to assess comfort while using BASILA and analyzed descriptively. The results of the BASILA trial obtained the characteristics of  late adolescent respondents 6 people (40.0%) and late adults 6 people (40.0%).  The average education is 7 people (46.7%) with 12 housewives (80.0%) working. The results of the BASILA trial 11 people (73.3%) expressed strongly agreed that BASILA provides comfort during breastfeeding for mothers and babies, 10 people (66.7%) stated that BASILA provides comfort in the position of the spine, 8 people (53.3%) agreed to provide comfortable support to the arm while breastfeeding.
